Speak out for the Animals Here: Sign Petition Here

I decided to set up this website many years ago but never ever got around to doing so but now I think its time.

Time to speak out.

Time to let people know the truth.

Time to let people know that all is not as it should be.

Time to point out to people where their hard earned money is going when they donate to heart wrenching TV & Media appeals.

I have been involved with animal welfare and rescue for many years. I have witnessed 1st hand how many people and organisations who claim to be animal lovers have treated animals, mainly domesticated pets such as Dogs and Cats etc' and I have been shocked and sickened at what I have come across over the years.

Just to give you a little background about myself. I am married with 2 grown up children. I run a Legal Services business where I represent people in the County Courts and I am also a very successful Private Investigator with a 100% track record. I am mainly employed by Solicitors etc' for high profile cases which usually are Murder Cases and big Drug Cases. I am not however in cahoots with any Animal Rights Groups in any way and have never had any dealing with these type of organisations.

I will never be able to comprehend how people can abuse or abandon animals for no reason at all because as far as I am concerned there are no justifiable reasons for the way these animals are treated.
There are rescues for animals we cannot cope with and there are specialist Breed Rescues who help particular breeds. All the independent rescues or animal sanctuaries that I have come across throughout my life have all done whatever they can for these unfortunate animals. Most of the time they are struggling financially yet they still help.
Some are bursting to the seams but still get involved, yet we have big animal welfare organisations that are there supposedly to help and protect these same abused and abandoned animals.

Dog Trust (Formerly the NCDL) and Blue Cross do a excellent job when it comes to animal welfare as do the PDSA who give free treatment to those who are on low income and cannot afford veterinary fee's. I applaud these organisations as they are doing what they were set up to do even though there must be times when they also struggle.

Then you have the RSPCA who for years and years I thought were THE REAL DEAL when it came to animal welfare. I knew Bernice Jones who lived in Caerleon Gwent and who ran the RSPCA shelter in Ringland, Newport, Gwent where her superiors decided to storm in like mercenaries one day and slaughter 70 dogs leaving young kennel girls distressed and shell shocked to the point that at least one of them tried to take her own life...........such was the brutal shock of the RSPCA Inspectors blood letting that fateful day !

This is not the first case of what I call "Money before Animals".
Many people are not aware of what the RSPCA actually do or where the money goes to when you donate to their appeals.

Read this site and you will find out...........................and I dare say you will not be happy.

Everything published on this website is based on fact with no embellishments at all by myself or its contributors.

Most people THINK that this organisation rescue animals as in if you report seeing a stray dog to them that  they will come and rescue it. This is far from the truth. This is not what they do.

Try ringing them to say you have found a stray dog and see what you get told ...............I dare you !!!!!!!

Tell them you are prepared to capture the dog and take it to their nearest RSPCA shelter and see what you get told..................again, I dare you !!!!!!!

Here are a few facts about the RSPCA that you may not be aware of: When you donate money to one of their media appeals your hard earned money goes directly to the RSPCA HQ and is not distributed to the RSPCA shelters around the country.

Each RSPCA shelter is a franchise of the RSPCA HQ organisation and each is a independent charity.

Each RSPCA shelter has to raise their own funds as they are self funding.

Each RSPCA shelter have to pay an annual fee amounting to thousands of pounds to the RSPCA  HQ regardless of how little funds they have in their account and must be paid to them before ANYTHING else and that includes food for the animals in their care.

25 years ago this annual fee was £4000.00+ so just imagine what it is now !!!

The RSPCA are worth Millions of £s yet the local RSPCA shelters have to go all out to raise funds to stay open and survive.

They teach rookie Inspectors how to kill a dog using healthy strays..............is that where you want your money spent ?......is this how you expect a animal welfare organisation to behave ?

Far too many cases of animals being put to death for no real reason other than the fact that they have been abandoned or abused .............is this what we call "animal welfare"........................is this how YOU want your donations spent ?

Don't get me wrong here, I am not advocating that the RSPCA be closed down...............far from the truth. I believe that the RSPCA is essential along with Dog Trust and Blue Cross. I just believe that they have lost sight of their origins and have become more money orientated and less and less animal welfare and that their policies should be restructured with changes made at the very top.

If you do support the RSPCA then you may want to donate your money to the local RSPCA shelter direct, that way they will get the benefit. On the whole the local shelters do a good job. Its their HQ that are the problem.

Its time that the running of the RSPCA HQ was stringently investigated by the Government and the Charities Commission. Their policies should be re-written and applied and a independent watchdog set up to oversee their operation. More of their Millions should be spent on saving animals. They spend far too much on advertising and prosecuting people un-necessarily and obscene wages.
They have become far too powerful and are money orientated rather than animal welfare orientated in my personal opinion.

They intimidate people by wearing uniforms that are made to make them look like Police Officers and have ranks like Chief Superintendent, Inspector........

Don't be intimidated by this as it means absolutely NOTHING !

Watching a TV program last night (6th October 2009) I watched a RSPCA Inspector enter a property without permission...twice, without the owner being there (Totally Illegal).

I then watched this Inspector tell a woman and her young daughter that if the rabbits nails were not cut and the hutch cleaned out he would come back and take them away. Please note that not 1 RSPCA "official" has ANY authority to enter a property or to take ANY animal. Only a Police Officer can do this with a warrant under the Animal Welfare act and even then the Police Officer will often rely upon the advice of the RSPCA Inspector in order to obtain a warrant, now, if you know that you are not breaking any laws under the animal welfare act and you can prove it then stand your ground and challenge the Police Officer ask him if he is conversant with the animal welfare laws...........most will not have a clue as they rely upon the RSPCA Inspector telling him the truth. If the Police Officer is not aware of the law then point out to him why the seizure of your animals is not warranted and insist that he clarifies the complaint with HIS Inspector. If it is a complaint of neglect of some sort and you know different, then ring your vet and explain to him or her what is taking place and if your vet is in support of your case then either ask him to speak to both the RSCPA Inspector and the Police Officer and if needed then ask your vet to attend the scene to give a official assessment of the animal/s because the Police Officer will not be qualified to do so and neither will the RSPCA Inspector.

The laws for those who inflict acts of cruelty upon animals are also out dated and need to be revamped. 6 months is the longest sentence the court can and very rarely give any offender................this is now seen as a joke by many.

Longer Prison sentences should be given out more frequently ALONG with massive fines.

This site will name & shame anyone found guilty of wilful abuse or neglect by a court of law.

If you think like many other right minded people do that the RSPCA  needs to be looked into and their policies changed then you can add your voice to a petition online that was started recently. You can make your voice heard here : Click Here to Sign the Petiton

If you do support change then please do not sit back and think to yourself that things should change, do not become apathetic but actually DO something about it by signing it........Do NOT leave it to others to do as EVERY voice counts !
This will take you less than a minute to add your voice to the petition. Do YOUR bit for the animals and SPEAK for them !.
